This four-part series will give you the tools and skills needed to delve deeper into the wondrous world of nature. You do not need any prior experience with drawing or journaling to participate. Bernalillo County Seeks to Expand Public Art Collection

Bernalillo County – Bernalillo County seeks to expand the county's public art collection, and local artists are encouraged to offer their works for consideration. The Bernalillo County Public Art Program intends to purchase between 10 and 20 artworks later this year from local artists. The county has set aside $19,000 in public arts funds to complete the purchases. Last Friday, an estimated 300 people came to see the county's public art collection at a community open house at the Albuquerque/Bernalillo County Government Center. A wide variety of public art is showcased throughout the county's gallery and offices. The deadline to apply for the public art program is March 16 at 4 p.m. The current opportunity is intended for emerging and established artists. The application can be accessed here.
